Short version: your songs stay on your device.

Your files

Songs you add (audio, recordings, MIDI) are processed in your browser. The notes are worked out on your device by an AI model that runs in the page. Your files and the notes are stored in your browser's storage on this device only. They are not uploaded to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them.

Microphone and MIDI

The microphone is only used when you press record, and the recording is handled like any other file you add. MIDI keyboards are read only while the app is open.

Guitar sign-up

If you leave your email to hear about guitar support, we store that email address and the date, and use it once to tell you when guitar is ready. Nothing else.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. There are no ads, no trackers and no accounts.
